Georgetown Holdings announces major equipment expansion at its seed coating operations

September 11,  2001

SeedVentures, Inc., Custom Seed Coaters Inc. and their subsidiaries Canadian Seed Coaters and Precision Seed Coaters are in the final stages of re-equipping their forage and turf coating lines at their North Battleford Sask. and Yuma Arizona locations. In addition Precision Seed Coaters has undertaken a further expansion program with the purchase of a new building to house their Yuma coating operation. This is expected to be ready for occupation in June 2002.

This revamping of the forage and turf coating systems will complement Canadian Seed Coaters, PC5000 canola coating equipment in North Battleford while the fact that the North Battleford plant is ISO-9002 registered makes the group the most complete, efficient and technologically advanced seed coating operation of it’s kind in the world.

Both Canadian Seed Coaters and Precision Seed Coaters are preparing to enter what is anticipated to be a record breaking season in the forage and turf coating business.

This new equipment is expected to double their production capability for most seeds ensuring that their customers needs and expectations will continue to be met.

The new equipment is available for purchase through Canadian Seed Coaters, who are acting as an agent for the manufacturer and invite interested parties to contact them at trevorbailie@rogers.com for further information on this or any other aspect of the groups seed coating activities.
