Precision Seed Coaters announces relocation to new
premises
September, 2002
Trevor Bailie, the General
Manager of Custom Seed Coaters Inc. (parent company of
Precision Seed Coaters) is pleased to be able to advise
that the re-location of the companies Yuma coating plant
is complete and the first orders to be coated in the new
facility are currently being processed.
The new premises were designed
by Carlos Pino, the General Manager of Precision Seed
Coaters, to enhance the performance of the recently
commissioned RP-36-DB coating equipment, which the
company purchased in 2001.
This equipment together
with its location in its new premises will enable the
company to further streamline its coating operations
resulting in superior service and quality of products
for its ever-growing list of customers.
In a related development Mr.
Bailie announced the companies intention to obtain ISO
9002 registration by December 31st 2003. This
follows the impressive results that the company has seen
from its sister company (Canadian Seed Coaters) since
their ISO-9002 registration in 1996 and their planned
upgrade to ISO – 9002 - 2000 standards.
In addition to the above the
company plans to hold its fifth Seed Coating "think
tank" in Yuma in October 2002. This will be attended by
representatives from three of the largest coating
companies in the world including Heritage Seeds from
Australia. The focus of the ‘think tank" will be the
RP-36_DB coating equipment which all three companies now
use to produce their extensive range of forage and turf
seeds.
