The primary activity of SeedVentures is the development and subsequent marketing of our technology and equipment.

We are currently seeking partners in the seed coating or related industries throughout the world with whom we can share and continue to develop this technology.

Our parent company, SeedVentures, Inc., is looking for partners
in the seed coating industry or related sectors

The original Prill-On® technology was brought to Canada in 1976. Since that time this legume seed coating technology has evolved into a highly sophisticated, computerized process known as the PC 5000 for producing Chemseal® coated and Chemgard treated canola seed.

Designed and built in Canada by our own engineering staff, this equipment ranks as the most sophisticated and reliable of its kind. With a production capacity of 5 tonne per hour, it is capable of producing in excess of 2000 tonne per month during the height of the canola coating season. .

While specifically designed to produce Chemseal® (a 3.5 -  8% by weight canola coating), this type of  equipment could also be used to produce our Rhizoseal® alfalfa product.

However as both the Rhizoseal® and Chemseal® products are produced during the same short four - six month coating season we have chosen to set up completely separate production lines to ensure that we are able to meet the ever increasing demand for both these products. The fact that we have two separate lines eliminates the possibility of contamination within the plant.

Canadian Seed Coaters completed re-equipping its forage and turf coating lines in 2001 with the most technologically advanced equipment available.

Canadian Seed Coaters’s
recently re-vamped
forage & turf coating line.

This revamping of the forage and turf coating systems complements Canadian Seed Coaters, PC5000 canola coating equipment in North Battleford. The fact that the North Battleford plant is ISO-9001:2000 registered makes the group the most complete, efficient and technologically advanced seed coating operations of its kind in the world.
